Dancer Places Second in Regional Competition
Lillian Crocker will now compete in NYC with some of the best dancers in the world.
Junior Lillian Crocker placed second in the South Regionals for Youth American Grand Prixe, the world’s largest dance competition, over the weekend. She will now have the chance to compete in NYC against the world’s best dancers under the age of 20.
More than 300 dancers, ages 15-19, performed a contemporary dance and a classical variation ballet during the competition in Winston-Salem, N.C. Judges were principal dancers from American Ballet Theater, Bolshoi Ballet, Houston Ballet and San Francisco Ballet.
