Class of 2018 Graduates

The 78 members of the Class of 2018 became St. Catherine’s newest alumnae on Saturday morning.
     St. Catherine’s School celebrated the 78 members of the Class of 2018 on Saturday with the School’s official commencement exercise.
     Among the day’s honorees were June Scholars Madison Jiranek and Julia Murillo and June Queen Betty Wolde. June Scholar represents the top student in the class. June Queen is voted on by students, faculty and staff and is kept secret until announced at the Junior-Senior Banquet the night before graduation.
     The gift in honor of the Class of 2018 was presented during graduation. The parents and grandparents of the Class of 2018 gave a gift totaling more than $1.2 million. The gift is in support of the construction on the southern third of the campus as well as Annual Giving.
     The ceremony concluded with the traditional Daisy Chain on the Green. This beloved tradition marks the transition of leadership from the Class of 2018 to the Class of 2019.

  • 19 LIS championships and 11 state championships won during their athletic careers
  • 10,000+ hours of community service during their four years of Upper School
