Eighth Graders Complete Book Challenge

Students were challenged to read 25 books this school year.
     Twenty four eighth graders took the 25 book challenge this school year and collectively read 986 books. The top three readers read a total of 277 books: Bella Shealy (107 books); Evie Wherry (88 books); and Catelin Smith (82 books).
     The readers celebrated with a Chick-fil-A party.
     For the reading total, books over 200 pages counted as two books, books over 500 pages counted as three books and books over 750 pages counted as four books.
