New Cum Laude Members Inducted

Fifteen students were inducted into St. Catherine's chapter of Cum Laude Society.
     St. Catherine’s celebrated academic achievement on Monday evening as 15 students and one faculty member were inducted into the School’s chapter of Cum Laude Society. Dr. Pontus Hiort, History Department Chair and Upper School History teacher, was the guest speaker for the service.
     The new inductees are seniors Ava Fuller, Anna Hubbard, Suha Minai, Ava Moslow, Lily Rhee, Molly Sherrill, Grace Wielar and Betty Wolde.
     Juniors inducted: Townsend Dotterer, Bronwyn Mitchell, Eva Saville, Lacey Thompson, Diana Wickersham, Laney Yoo and Maggie Young. Director of College Counseling Anthony Ambrogi joined the students as an inductee.
     The group joins last year’s inductees from the Class of 2018: Lily Blankenship, Sarah Cobb, Madison Jiranek, Caroline Jordan, Julia Murillo, Ann Tarry, Mary Clarke Wallace and Madison Williamson.
     Cum Laude is made up of 382 chapters in the United States, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, France and Spain. Approximately 4,000 new student members are inducted each year.
