St. Catherine’s offers a comprehensive Visual Art program beginning with Early Learners (age 3)-grade 12. Our curriculum supports and fosters skills to develop art skills and techniques, encourage individual expression, and creative thinking and problem solving.

The Lower School art studio, given by the Halsey Family, is a bright and cheerful space and is housed in McCue Hall. The Lower School art program focuses on introduction to art history and learning about art in the global world, exploration of media to enhance skills and techniques, and expression of self. Classes are offered for all students in the Lower School, grades K-4. Lower School students' art is showcased throughout the St. Catherine's campus and larger community.
The Grace Branch Moore Fine Arts Center, which houses the Upper School art program, includes a ceramics studio, a darkroom with 10 enlargers, and a bright and spacious art studio. Classes are offered in art foundation, drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, ceramics/sculpture, advanced art, and dark room photography.

The Rennolds Art Gallery in Turner Hall features exhibitions by local and regional artists, school faculty and students. Student artwork is also featured regularly throughout the campus.

St. Catherine’s girl’s artwork is  displayed locally in different venues. Their artwork is also submitted regularly to regional and national competitions, including the prestigious Scholastic Art Awards, consistently receiving awards.
