Alumna Author Works with Middle School and Upper School Students
New York Times Best Selling Author and alumna Kathryn Williams Renna '99 was on campus today to talk with Middle and Upper School students. She met with all seventh and eighth graders this morning start the day. She then lead a writing workshop for fifth graders and talked with Upper School Creative Writing students before leading another writing workshop for sixth grade theatre students. She ended the day talking with Upper Schoolers about her new book "The Storyteller" and then conducted a final writing workshop with seventh and eighth graders.
During the workshops, the girls learned about character development. Interim Director of Middle School Frances Doyle introduced Williams earlier. Doyle taught English to Williams when she was a St. Catherine's student.
