Students Attend Symphony Performance Honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.
Lower School girls in grades 2-4 attended a special private symphony performance by the Richmond Symphony yesterday. The girls walked to Recital Hall at St. Christopher’s for the event.
The concert, “Music of Freedom,” is designed to introduce young listeners to the dream and messages of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The music was threaded together with a narrative to further educate the students.
The concert featured 13-year-old violinist Amaryn Olmeda.
