Gold/White Captains Introduced
Senior Sally Harrington will lead the Gold team and senior Ainsleigh Mancini will lead the White team.
The Gold/White captains for 2021-2022 were recently introduced. Senior Sally Harrington will lead the Gold team and senior Ainsleigh Mancini will lead the White team.
All students, faculty and staff are either a member of the Gold Team or the White Team. The teams compete in a variety of activities throughout the school year.
Sally and Ainsleigh assigned teams to the new Middle School students and Upper School students during recent assemblies and chapels. New Lower School students receive an email designating their team.
The tradition of Gold/White dates back to 1926 when then Headmistress Louis Bacon Brackett divided the School into two teams to increase school spirit. The highlight of Gold/White is the cheer rally which includes the entire student body.
Each spring the winning team is awarded the Gold/White Cup. The Head of School hands the cup to the losing team captain who then presents it to the winning team captain.
