Fifth grade science teacher Katherine Mangum (second from right) was a co-presenter at the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) Conference in Kansas City. She presented with three other teachers who were all part of the 2015 TOP STEM Fellows on Germany’s commitment to renewable energies.
Their focus at the ITEEA Conference was solar power. They used a lesson Mangum developed and shared their TOP PD experiences, encouraged teachers to apply for a TOP Study Tour and shared TOP resources.
Kindergarten teachers Maddy Hargis and Caroline Kilby traveled to Germany over the summer as a part of the 2018 Summer Study Abroad program developed by the University of Richmond Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) program.
