Manganello School's Third Lexus Scholar Honoree

    Congratulations to Chaney Manganello, St. Catherine's third student-athlete finalist in this year's Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award Scholarship Program, sponsored by Lexus of Richmond.  Chaney joins classmates Mamie Robertson and Sydney Schreiner as finalists who have demonstrated outstanding academics, athletics, leadership, citizenship and community service. Chaney was interviewed Wednesday on WRVA. Another interview with Manganello will air during Fox News at Ten’s sports segment on Sunday. 
    Manganello was named All LIS and chosen State ALL Tournament Team in 2008 and 2009. She was 1st All Metro Team in 2009.She was chosen as an alternate on the U-19 team for the USA Field Hockey Futures National Tournament in 2009. She was Captain of the Varsity Field Hockey 2009 team and Junior Captain in 2008. Senior Manganello has agreed to play Field Hockey for William and Mary.
   Manganello is active in other sports including:

• JV Basketball: 2006 Captain
• Varsity Basketball; 2007, 2008 and Captain in 2009
• JV Lacrosse 2007, 2008 - captain and MVP coach's award
• Varsity Lacrosse 2009, and 2010 Captain

   Lexus of Richmond names a weekly finalist from Richmond area schools.  All the finalists are eligible for a $10,000 scholarship, which is awarded at the end of the school year.
