Rising seniors boast the unique opportunity of participating in a summer internship geared toward their area of occupational interest.  The program, which works in conjunction with St. Christopher’s and is managed by the Parent’s Association, offers students exposure to a meaningful work experience prior to make college choices.

The internships last up to four weeks and provide valuable personal and career insights as well as a wealth of practical information about resume building, employment protocols and professional etiquette.

This summer St. Catherine’s students participated in internships at the Executive Mansion, a dermatologist office, MCVH-VCU, with a cardiologist, ER doctor and a neurologist, at Richmond Symphony, a Law firm and at the Virginia Historical Society as well as other employers throughout Richmond.

Students learn about internships during their junior year and will fill out an application detailing their interests as well as their summer availability.  The students are placed in internships following an interview process as well as several career-related workshops. Please contact the school if you want more information or if your business wants to offer an internship.
