Sophomore Advances in Poetry Out Loud
Laney Yoo advances to state competition.
Sophomore Laney Yoo won the Region 5 Finals of the Poetry Out Loud competition Monday afternoon at Richmond CenterStage. She will now advance to the State Finals on March 10.
Yoo competed against 17 other winners from area schools. Her two performances received the judges' highest cumulative scores.
