Saints Soccer Wins VISAA State Championship

St. Catherine's soccer team capped off an undefeated season, 18-0-2 enroute to winning it's fourth consecutive LIS championship and the second State Championship in program history. The road to the title included a quarterfinal win over Liberty Christian Academy, 3-1, a semifinal win over Norfolk Collegiate, 3-2 in overtime and a 2-0 win over LIS rival Trinity Episcopal. Juniors Addie Wright, Virginia Jesselson and Seeley Yoo were all named Division I First Team All State. Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Wigg was named VISAA Division I State Player of the Year. Congratulations Saints!
