Saints fall to Norfolk Academy

Lindalee Mulligan
The Saints travelled to Norfolk Academy to meet a very determined opponent.  Despite some nagging injuries and many calls that did not go our way, the Saints managed to stay in reach, trailing just 2-5 at the half.  The first part of the second half saw the Saints play tough, netting three goals, bringing the score within one goal to 5-6.  With 10 minutes left, Norfolk turned up the heat and the Saints could not match their intensity.  Notable performances were turned in by Brucie Mish at midfield and Caroline Ramey at defense. Scoring goals for the Saints were Arlo Gray (3) and Carolyn Pratt (2). Kalli Wagnon was outstanding in goal making a season record 17 saves.
