NASA Chief Scientist Visits Campus

Dr. Ellen Stofan interacted with students, faculty and staff.
Dr. Ellen Stofan, Chief Scientist of NASA, visited with St. Catherine’s students, faculty and staff today.
She started the day with a presentation to Upper School students and then visited a variety of classrooms in all three divisions – engaging with students and answering their questions about her work with NASA, reversing climate change and even her favorite volcano (Mt. Etna in Sicily, Italy).
A William & Mary alumna, Dr. Stofan serves as principal advisor to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden on the agency’s science programs, planning and investments.
