 | To fulfill our mission and pursue our vision, we take these values as core:
Pursuing academic excellence We cultivate intellectual habits in which we take joy in learning through energetic inquiry, analytical and creative thinking, and continual striving to reach new levels. Developing character We teach individuals to live with integrity, responsibility, confidence, compassion and respect for themselves and others. Nurturing spiritual growth We enable each person to deepen her faith through worship, reflection, humility and the recognition of God in every human being. Celebrating individuals We recognize the unique gifts and potential of each person and help each to recognize the strength that comes from differences. Building community We build up community within and beyond the school through teaching social responsibility, inclusiveness and leadership to prepare each person to serve others and contribute to healing the world.

For more information about diversity and inclusion at St. Catherine's School contact: | | St. Catherine’s strives to provide a respectful, welcoming, nurturing and diverse setting for students, faculty, staff and parents. We seek to create a school community that is supportive of children and families of all backgrounds and life experiences.
While we draw strength from our commonalities as an all-girls school rooted in spirituality, one of the school’s core values is Celebrating Individuals. We recognize the unique gifts and potential of each person and help each to recognize that strength often comes from our differences. We believe that differences among people provide a rich and vital context for the effective development of our students. We celebrate and embrace each member of our community and encourage the acceptance of all cultures. We believe that varied perspectives and a wide range of views enliven and stimulate great teaching and learning.
To further ensure we uphold this focus, various leadership groups work collaboratively to weave mutual respect into every facet of school life across all divisions. The Community Perspectives Council, which includes parents, faculty and staff representatives, and the Board of Governors' Diversity Committee, are dedicated to maintaining an inclusive environment and fostering respect in our classrooms, within our community and beyond.
Please take the time to explore what diversity means to St. Catherine’s School. Review the school’s Core Values to gain an understanding of how they have shaped our beliefs on diversity. We live these Core Values each and every day at St. Catherine’s.
As we move into the future, it remains vital that we all respect the differences of others and embrace what makes each of us an individual. We must prepare our girls to live, work and succeed in an ever-changing, increasingly global world.
